Spicy Rice Recipe

Since i started the General Motors Weight Loss Diet, i've been learning new recipes everyday. I'm considering going vegetarian for the next 2-3weeks so i'm researching as much as i can about fruits and vegetables. Everyday, i'm discovering new things i didn't know about fruits and vegies. Below is a recipe for spicy rice which i've just learnt to prepare. Quite nice if cooked properly.

Ingredients
1 cup rice
Chilli powder
2 cubes chicken stock
Tumeric powder
Pepper
Peas
Olive oil
Salt
Tobasco
Paprika

Method
Take a cup of rice and dry fry it in some oil for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently. When the rice starts to slightly brown, add some water, chili powder and a chicken stock cube. Add a little turmeric and simmer gently until rice is fully cooked.

In a separate pan, fry some mixed peppers and peas in a little olive oil, salt, pepper, tobasco, another chicken stock cube and some paprika. Add the rice to the pan and mix through thoroughly.
