I didn't go to work today so i had all the time to attend gym and workout, which i did, and man, am i so exhausted. Getting back into the gym has taken everything out of me and i regret not making an effort the whole of last week.
I refused to run today because it was way too hot, with temperatures of close do 30°C and i knew if i ran, i was going to have a serious case of dehydration so i just stayed away. I ended up doing the bridge, push-ups, power squarts and indoors jogging, all of which were comprised of three sets of twenty.
I was gonna go on the scale but my PT refused, saying i should only do it on Friday so until then, i just have to work hard and pray that i lose something.
For a little motivation, we (my PT and i) have agreed that i should lose at least 3kg per week. If i fail to do that, i give him $10 but if i manage to lose, i'll be at the receiving end. That means i've got to work my ass off, no messing around else i'll be paying.
He says i must stay away from all starch so that means no bread for me, no cereal, no rice, no sadza, no spaghetti, nothing. Just fruits and vegetables. I'm also supposed to write a food diary so yeah, no cheating. Let's see how this is going to go.
